• Halo Wars Website Closing

The Halo Wars fan base will see the closing of the website as a sign that Microsoft is preparing to down play their game. Not true! The website is closing but the forums will be transitioned to Halo Waypoint.

All the game’s details, discussions and updates held at the Halo Waypoint website.

“In an effort to provide the Halo Wars community a lively, active, and well-moderated set of forums for discussion, we are soon going to be transitioning the Halo Wars forums to Halo Waypoint's forums.” Stated a forum moderator by the name of Coco. “What this means is that the Halo Wars site will be taken offline and we will ask all of you, if you'd like to continue discussing the game, to do so over at the home for all things Halo, Halo Waypoint.”

Halo Waypoint network is a better suited to handling the growing needs of the Halo franchise and its online community, as opposed to individual websites for each game. Daily updates are promised, and those who remained faithful as a part of the Halo Wars community will receive a special, unique avatar for use on the Halo Waypoint forums.

Halo Waypoint is available online, and on the Xbox 360 console. Microsoft has recently launched an app for Windows Phone 7 making Halo Waypoint the best possible way to enjoy any Halo franchise game. Many significant updates are expected to hit Halo Waypoint soon.

I never played this version of Halo. Way to much damn work involved to kill someone. Give me the Master Chief and a Rifle, all is well after that.
