Before I say start talking about random things that go through my head everyday, I want to wish everybody a happy Thanksgiving and hope you guys have fun and stay safe.
Now, I had a conversation with a friend not to long ago, where we were talking about Mortal Kombat and all the cross over the fighting genre seem to be having of late. Now we all know that Mortal Kombat vs DC came out with mix reviews from gamers, then later also revealed that a few moves from the MK side had to be removed from the game because "DC just wouldn't allow those moves to be used on there characters" but I've been wondering "why hasn't there been a Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter crossover yet"?
Is it that the fatality that MK is so known for, pushing back other studio from joining? I can see a publisher like Capcom saying "well, you sure as hell are not going to do any of those crazy death moves finishers on our Ryu!" I can see it being a easier transition for other studio if MK just take out the Fatality all together and join in on the Street Fighter style game, but is it still MK with out the Fatality's?
I would love to here you guys opinion on the matter, do you guys think we will ever get a crossover between MK and SF or SNK? And do you think they would allow Fatality?
