Microsoft Offers GeoHotz a Free WP7

The Geohot team are the guys behind the PS3, iPhone jailbreaks, and who are being buried in lawsuits by Sony and Apple. They have decided to take on Microsoft, and Microsoft couldn't be happier.


George Hotz's said in a tweet that the next hope of a good jailbreak was probably Microsoft's Windows Phone 7. “perhaps a more appropriate way to deal with jailbreakers I’m going out to buy a Windows 7 phone.”

With in a few hours Brandon Watson, the developer of Windows Phone 7 tweeted back.



Obviously Brandon has a lot of faith in his products safety. Microsoft would love all the attention to it's latest product. Will it stand up to the Geohot test? We will see. For a free WP7, I might offer to hack it myself.
