Sony and Playstation.com Get Hit By Hackers

A collective group of hacker's calling themselves Anonymous, have began their war on Sony. Claiming that Sony's lawsuits against GeoShotz is an attack on free speech they have called on all hackers to “crash all server of Sony please." Last night both Sony.com and Playstation.com were shut down.


As of this morning I was able to connect to both sites, but some are still having issues and both sites are running slow.

PSN is also experiencing connection issues this morning. The only word from Sony so far has been, “PSN currently undergoing sporadic maintenance. Access to the PSN may be interrupted throughout the day. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

Anonymous has issued a video stating their agenda:

The ultimate out come of this is that WE LOSE! Gamers and consumers all will be the only ones to suffer. If these guys have a legitimate cause they would take it to court and settle it like men instead of wasting good talent to ruin the free time of millions of gamers.

It's not over....unfortunately.
