It does look pretty sweet. What does Apples iPad do? A lot but it's not a computer. You can keep up with Facebook, unlike the Xbox dashboard that advertises Facebook but doesn't allow you to post anything, with the iPad you can do everything your computer does with Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. Come to Crosseyedgamer and post, check PM's and play in the arcade. Check e-mails, watch a movie and read a book you downloaded. You can also surf the web, download your music and pictures just like a computer or Smart phone. It has apps that are available on the iPhone as well. 150,000 app's are available and the apps you've purchased are yours already.
On my iPhone I have a GPS thats sweet, NOAA for live weather maps for where ever I am, traffic guide, IGN for game news and of course lots of games and my local movie theater show times. It's all about the things I love in one place. The iPad would be a larger version of the same.
9.7 inch lighted Led touch screen that's only a half an inch thick and weights a pound and a half. Where are these lines again?

Now for the down side. It's not a camera, that sucks, it also isn't a computer. It's advertised for Web surfing but it doesn't have Flash. As an iPhone owner I know that's an issue. You can't see some sites or use some navigation bars without Flash. There is also no multitasking. Like right now I have 4 windows open to do this article. Only 1 allowed at a time on the iPad. 0o Another biggie.....no USB port. How is that possible? You can buy a camera connector from them but it's pricey and as I mentioned there is no camera at all. Also there is no CD/DVD drive. You have to download movies, pics and music or have them someplace like iTunes to get to them. Also without a USB port you can't hook up a printer so if you get an e-mail you want printed, like tickets or whatever you have to get to a computer.

Pricing: 16 GB is $499.00 If you want it with Wi-Fi and 3 G networking its $629.00 Why would you buy it without Wi-Fi? You can't buy an iPhone without a Wi-Fi plan so I don't understand how it's possible to use it as it was created without Wi-Fi so plan on spending the $629.
Prices go up from here. The most expensive is 64 GB for $829.00 with Wi-Fi.

It has ups and downs but it's going to change how we use our free time. I see how this is just for fun. Not being able to print and work spread sheets or whatever your boss is screaming for makes this a free time device. Totally a Crosseyed approved necessity. x)
