Has Nintendo Run Out of New Ideas?

It's starting to look that way.

Nintendo. What can i say, i'm not a big Nintendo fan, although i did love them back in the days when they actually made good games. Anyways, their Press Conference just finished and it just gave me this weird feeling that i was playing the Nintendo 64 again.

I mean has Nintendo run out of Ideas?
Well i am going to explain why i think they have.

Nintendo's Conference was filled with highly popular games, but most are remakes or newer version of once popular games from an older console.



Anyways, let's get to it.

Nintendo started out with Zelda. As if i hasn't become old already, but yeah they made another one. Interesting.

After some usual business talk, they finally got into my kind of games that im totally pumped up to see. Well first, there is Mario Sports Mix. Mario is always awesome, right? well sometimes... Anyways, i can't wait.

Now the game they showed off im really excited to see it Donkey Kong Country Returns (Shout-out to our Arcade Challenge!!!) Anyways this game looks amazing, reminds me of sonic and Mario mixed into one game, but still awesome.

Another game im totally excited about is Kirby's Epic yarn. I've never played a Kirby game, but this looks amazing. It basically looked like paper Mario, just with yarn and different features.



Other games they announced included Just Dance 2, GoldenSun, GoldenEye, Epic Mickey, Dragon Quest 9, Metroid: Other M, Kid Icarus: Uprising, and 3D Nintendogs + Cats

As well as the usual business talk and how the Nintendo 3DS will need no glasses and will allow you to take and view 3D images and watch 3D films.


All in all - i was not bored on this one, but it just didn't excite me that much, i guess this is the reason i no longer have a Nintendo Wii...lol
