The Art of Being Random

I have always remembered that title so much - it comes from a Halo fan-made video a few years back with new voice acting and scripts. It was a daft little thing but I thought it was interesting and the title always stuck around in my head!

It won't be winning any awards but it's amusing and a good little distraction for a couple of minutes. Anyhow, I've always wanted to use the title somewhere but could never find the place, but I figured today would be as good a time as any! It certainly explains what this blog is going to be like! Random as hell!

Well I'#m really happy since I've just got a new bed which is super duper comfy! Practically fell asleep straight away when my head hit the pillow! It's also got a brill pull out cupboard underneath it which I'm currenly using to store games from my old bed's storage cupboard. However I've noticed I've got a severe lack of room now so going to have to figure out what to do next!

I'm currently looking for an original Xbox since I've now got a bit of irrational hatred for the 360 - They're good as bookends now but the fact that two have died doesn't make me all that happy with them. Plus I'd love to play a lot of the original Xbox games that the 360 couldn't play. I'm looking around for one on ebay that's good - ya never know!

I've been learning a lot recently about something called Augmented Reality videogaming - it's an amazing setup that allows for the merging of computer images with real life, but not on TV (usually). EyePets is the most prominent example of this type of game - I'm actually really interested in buying it now, it has to be said! Look up a game called ARQuake to get an idea of just what AR gaming can be like! Nothing like the flop of VR that's for sure!

There's been a couple of other interesting things that have been happening too - A full Gizmondo collection is on it's way so hopefully next week I'll be able to give a proper playthrough unlike the blog I did a few weeks back. Also I've always been interesting in the joys of programming Java games - doubt I'll end up doing it though!

Catch you all later on! ^^
