Being a girl gamer I appreciate a strong female character in a game. Over the years I have grown a soft spot for particular characters. This list is composed of strong, kick butt ladies...or AI's. Most are pretty easy on the eyes too so I'm sure you boys will enjoy.


First on the list, and this list is in no particular order, is,
#1 Christie Monteiro



Christie was my all time favorite Tekken cherectar. This little lady could kick some serious butt with her awesome Capoeira moves, and she always fought
for what she believed in. she never left anyone behind. In Tekken 4 when she was first introduced in the Tekken series her story was based around loyalty.
Christie's imprisoned grandfather taught Eddy Gordo capoeira and made him promise to teach it to his Granddaughter when he got out.
After two years of training, Christie became a great fighter, but then Eddy dissapeared to avenge his Fathers death. Christie went out searching for him and ended up entering the Iron Fist tournament to find some answers.
I used to call her crazy legs because most of her moves involved her flailing her legs around like crazy.
She was also the most curvy female cheracter in the game so of course I loved that.
Any game Christie is in, is a game I want to play.


#2 Cortana
Cortana may only be an AI but she is important enough to die for. Cortana is beautiful and smart. Master Chief couldn't have been the great and awesome spartan he was
without her and neither could the Halo series.



Although she is only a hologram, she is headstrong, talks a lot, and can turn heads with her looks..So she can most definitly be classified as a real woman.



#3 Chun Li
She wears her hair up in leia buns, has wrist bands with spikes on them, and has a mean kick! Need I say more!
Chun Li is probably one of the most popular Street Fighter characters. I know for me she was always my choice. She looked like a school girl but
she could definitely leave a mark with her crazy huge muscular legs. You don't want to mess with those things.


#4 GLaDOS
So here is another AI that made the list. This AI is a little different from Cortana. Cortana fights to save the human race and defend the defenseless.
GLaDOS just likes messing with people. She enjoys challenging people a little before she kills them by having them fall into green poisonous muck or being shot by her androids. GLaDOS is the evil female voiced AI from the game Portal. Portal was one of the two games in the Orange Box game set.
Whatever she says, the cake is a lie and she's not there to help you. Find the nearest Aperture Science Emergency Intelligence Incinerator and throw her in when you get the first chance.


#5 Samus Aran
She was orphaned at a young age when Space Pirates raided her home planet and killed her parents and everything she knew. She was found by a different race and was administered some of their DNA into her body so that she could withstand her new environment, but hey that didn't stop her. She became the bounty hunter we all know and love in her Power Suit.

She can morph into a ball and roll around too. Got to love her.

#6 Zelda
Zelda has been portrayed in many different ways in the Zelda games. In all the many ways her character has been played she always will be the awesome princess worth saving. My all time faovrite role of Zelda was in Ocaraina of Time. At first we see Zelda as a sweet little girl who is worried about her Father and her homeland, but later on in the game we see her in a new light. She is all grown up and she is hiding out as her alter ego Sheik. Link is unaware that Sheik is really princess Zelda until later on in the game. So not only is this princess sweet and cares for her people, but she can step up and become a kick butt Sheikan if need be.

Let's face it, Zelda is so cool that they named the game after her and you don't even play as her character.

#7 Chell
Chell may not be seen much in the game. Really the only time you see her is if you look at your reflection or you catch a glimpse in the portals, but she can out smart GLaDOS so she definitely makes the list. When I looked for pictures of her online I saw a lot of comments about her being ugly...Shes a prisoner people! I think if they made her look like a super model it would be a little odd. She's stuck in the Aperture Science facility with only a bed and a toilet. So, moving on.

Chell makes her way through the Aperture Science testing rooms using the Portal gun and her smarts. In the end she finds out the the cake is a lie.
Looking forward to seeing her in the new game coming out on the 21st.

#8 Lara Croft
Of course Lara Croft makes the list. She can ride motorcycles, wield guns, pretty much anything she wants. She is just an all around tough beautiful woman.


#9 Claire Redfield.
Claire Redfield was part of the Resident evil series. She went out searching for her missing brother which is commendable since she had to go up against killer zombies to do so. The bottom line, she loves motorcycles and can shoot zombies so I definitely have a soft spot for her.


I'm going to leave number ten up to you guys. I want to see who you think should have made my list. I know there is a lot I left out so let me know who you think is the best!
