Here are the rules.
The Halo 3 Endless Possibilities Tournament is free to enter for everyone. Team sizes will be 2 vs. 2.
The Objective: Is for gamers to create their own map and play them against other teams. Each Team will get to play their map. If it is a tie after the first two rounds, a third default map and gametype must be chosen. It will be the best two out of three for each match. The Tournament will be single elimination.
Winning Team - receives 1600 MS points each per team member
2nd place - gets a free month of VIP on CrosseyedGamer.com
Each team will be responsible for creating a map and gametype or choosing default ones if needed. Each map must be fair. If a game is made so that one team has an advantage over the other that game will be dismissed and a default game will be chosen by an Arena Staff Member.
They will be no limitations on the gametype and map except the gametype will not be allowed to be infection. Also prior to the start of the tournament someone from the team must post what maps they have on their tournament teams profile so that we can make adjustments prior to the tournament starting.
Each team has 20 minutes after the original start time to show up or it will result in a disqualification.
In the event that your team knows that a member can't make it, you are allowed ONE substitute, but they are only eligible if they were signed up on the tournament team prior to the Tournament Match.
If more than one member can't make it, the match can be re-scheduled IF BOTH Teams agree and that match is played at least an HOUR prior to the beginning of the next round.
In the event that a member of the team lags out or leaves, the game will continue on. That player will not be allowed back in until the next game. In the event that more than one member leaves or lags out, that match is either to be forfeited by that team or replayed upon the discretion of the opposing team.
Prior to the start of the game, the host must perform a lag test. If they host is faulty a new host is to be chosen. If there are any in-game disputes, please save and send the entire game film to an Arena Staff Member.
These rules are subject to change, so check back often.
