CEG DaZeD CS

Ok, I decided to write a blog about my life of gaming. I started gaming in actual arcades that they had back in the day where you could go and play all kinds of games from pinball to Donkey Kong. I can remeber when I was around 6-7 years old and my dad brought home a Texas Instruments computer that plugged into the back of your tv. It came with centipede, asteroids and a few other games that were then released a few years later on Atari. Then finally when I was in Jr High School the Nintendo console came out. I can remember playing games like Contra, Tecmo Bowl and Super Mario Bros. all night long. After the Nintendo I got a Sega Genesis and played Mortal Combat like 24-7. When I finally got a PS2 I didnt think it could get any better than that, boy was I wrong. The newer game consoles are down right amazing.
I bought a PS3 when they first came out and didnt think it could get any better than that. One of my friends at work told me I should get an Xbox, that I would have a lot more fun on it. So I eventually went out and purchased an Xbox360 Elite. Wow.......I wasnt sure what to think, but I know for sure that I was hooked. Playing games and making new freinds and talking to people in a party all at the same time..........truly amazing.
Then I was invited to join my first clan. Ive been in several clans and communities over the last few years until I finally found a place where I had a lot of fun and made a lot of friends and thats right here at Crosseyedgamer. Ive worked my way up to a clan supervisor and now I am watching others work their way up and its awesome. I was able to finally promote my own nephew to General of Devils Anarchy after watching him work his way up through the ranks. He has a lot of fun here as well and I love to see that and it felt good to see him earn his position. Job well done CEG Steelers36. My son is also a member of CEG, he decides to stay a gamer in a clan but he still has a great time gaming with people that he has met from here.
Im not sure why I decided to blog about this, but I am 36 years old and proud to still be gaming with lots of great friends and family. Cant believe that Ive been playing video games for 30 years, but its still as fun as it was in the beginning. And I love being a member of this great social community and playing with you all on a regular basis and making new friends every week. Thank you all for doing what you do, and hope some of you are having half of the amount of fun as I am having. Now lets go get some gaming done!!!!!!!
