Has anyone noticed how bungie said halo 3 was their last halo game, and yet they came out with Halo: 3 ODST and now Halo: Reach?

I don't think they lie.. I think that just forget to mentioned some of the truth. Did they really say HALO 3 was the last one altogether or the last in the series with something new in it? ODST and REACH are backwards not forwards in the story.

I think they said that Halo 3 would be the last to follow that story...the story of Master Chief and his defense of Earth. ODST didn't even have Spartans in it and Reach feature a completely different group of Spartans. So no I don't think they are lying to us...
