I think that music is a very important aspect for any good video game. OK so not all games have great soundtracks but it certainly helps to immerse you in a game. Generally most of my favourite games have great soundtracks with some stunning pieces of music in them they often help form my memory of a game long after I stop playing it. Here are some of my favourites from the last couple of years. Some of them are just songs from in game menus but they still have an effect.









These last two sort of inspired me to change my Gamertag last year. I’m not sure why it just made me want to have a strange sort of mystical name.
