The Immortal Words of Sarcasm

Ok so, if you came to the site yesterday you may have found the Turkish flag along with some gibberish which I didn't try and translate. Well, seems the Turkish Hacker guy that has been causing trouble online for 5 plus years made some rounds in the last couple weeks to include the company that runs the server our site is on.

So no, it wasn't another stupid kid this time it was a real hacker and we just happened to be on a server his nonsense got into. Same went for a few thousand GoDaddy sites as well as The New Zealand Parliament and some other government sites here and there. Funstuff this running a website business is.

So sorry for the short downtime we had there although many people figured out that the forums where still up as the only thing really messed with was the file that contains the homepage data.

Now before you think things are back to normal, get ready for some changes.

First somethings will be going away in an effort to clean up the minor issues we have with the site. I don't have a list of things but if you notice something is missing you can beat it was removed or turned off in order to do some updates to get it working better.

Speaking of Updates, we do have a round of major updates coming which may be down late tonight or tomorrow. The site is generally taken offline so that there are issues with conflicting data. The last time I believe it only took about 2 hours and we were back up and ready to roll.

At some point next month we will have a very big update which will be adding a lot of new features and functionality to the site.

So if you get an error or something seems a bit out of place, we apologize as we are working hard to make things better and better for you and all our users.

Do note that there is a very nice Chatbox at the bottom of the forumhome page. You don't have to worry about registering or logging in as I fixed it so it would auto log you in if you are on the site. It doesn't have all the sounds like the other one but gives you a nice quick easy way to do a group chat if you want to.

You do have other chatrooms located on the chatbar at the bottom of the page. It is the second icon on the lefthand side of the bar.
