This week I was actually affected by the whole Project ten dollar thing that was originally started by Ubisoft and which is now being employed by other publishers including EA.
All of the most recent versions of EA Sports games now include a code on the manual that you have to enter to be able to play the game online. It can only be used once but I only found this out after my brother brought home a copy of FIFA 11. It’s probably only a matter of time before this is implemented by even more publishers so that’s something to look forward to...
Left 4 Dead: The Sacrifice DLC is out tomorrow. I got a bit of practice in earlier so I’m all ready for some zombie slaying.
Priced at 560mp it includes the new ‘The Sacrifice’ campaign as well as the ‘No Mercy’ campaign from the first Left 4 Dead which will include all of the new weapons and special infected.
It also brings about 5 new achievements for a total of 250gs. For people who may have a gamerscore obsession you may be interested to know that the DLC is also available for the original Left 4 Dead so you can earn all of the achievements twice if you want to spend double the amount of money.
Here is a cool video about the customization in COD: Black Ops. I can’t wait to get hold of this game.
Also this week: I finished Dead Space, continued playing the awesome Orange Box and a little bit of MW2 and today I watched Europe win the Ryder Cup.
