Stuck on the Main Menu

The wasteland has been very kind to me as of late. I have maimed and killed with ease. My cup runneth over with caps and leveling has been a breeze. I have reached level 20 and knocked out that little achievement, finally received my achievements for dealing 10000 in damage with guns, and influencing enough conversations in my favor using speech to receive those points also. I also hit some quest chievos in the process.

Effing over the Van Graffs..

The Van Graffs are a bother and sister led crew of arms dealers and would be crooks. I joined them in their quest “Birds of a Feather” so I could earn their badass reward of their Van Graff Combat Armor…quest was a breeze. Afterwards I decided that I liked the other items in the store, but not their prices…so I robbed them (easy enough with a stealth boy). Then I noticed that all of their guards had on the same armor (caps galore) so I needed to do some killing. How did I do this??? Again 4 armed guards, the two VanGraffs, all rocking good energy weapons. Simply…C4 at the feet of the guards…plasma mines by the bathroom door. I hid in the bathroom…denote the C4…kill the guards…the mines take care of the Van Graffs and I loot the piss out of them. In the end…I take out some shady people and make myself significantly richer.

Other Happenings

Helped the Boomers raise their plane…interesting group and a found a nice grenade launcher in the process. I also gave the kids there the gift of a rocket toy…I felt like Santa Claus.

Finally found the Brotherhood of Steel...decided to help them with there quest only to be sent on more hunt this down and bring it back quest….kind of a pain in the ass and hopefully I earn some nice XP from doing so. I’m still debating whether or not I want to try to lay waste to the entire faction…I guess I will decide when the time comes.

I have noticed there are a lot of areas that are not open yet on the map. Hopefully these areas do become available through DLC.

I don’t really gamble in the game…I would if they offered Texas Hold ’em I would, but blackjack and roulette get boring…I can make caps much faster by killing so in the end I don’t see the point.
