The Immortal Words of Sarcasm

I've become very disappointed with Reach. It was made on;y by the input of kids that have no knowledge of good gameplay and would only be playing it for a few months, while the people that have supported Halo for a decade and know what makes a fun annd competitive game were shunned. The ar in the beta was perfect because it wasn't overpowered at all, but the casual players complained that they couldn't kill people so the ar recieved a huge power boost and the magnum was nerfed hard. And don't get me started on bloom lol

Oh and is it missing an awesome soundtrack lol

That's one of the things reach actually has going amazingly for it.

I almost feel like cut and pasting my comments from other posts about this game...

The maps are awful, the AR can now out shoot the DMR, No point in ranking up, armor load outs are pointless.... Bungie has gone the route of catering to the "COD" gamer while leaving the Halo gamer high and dry.

I miss halo's unbelievable competitiveness

The bloom thing originally did not matter to me but after talking to Nemesis and reading up on it, I can see the point to making changes.

I mean, I go into a game and I am doing what I believe is the proper thing for aiming and such and some fucker is just shooting all over the place and kills me. The AR can kiss my ass. lol

It was HALO that brought me back into gaming. I was into gaming in the 80's and early 90's but got disconnected due to how life was for me at that time. I can't say I know all about Halo but I am pretty sure I know a lot more than most.

So, What's missing?

Number one thing that is missing from Reach - Master Chief.

How in the hell do you have a HALO game without the primary character??
With MC you get a better story and much more intense gameplay.

The Reach crew all seem like some mamby pamby group of wannabee Spartans.

MC kicks everyone's ass and is now floating endlessly somewhere in time and space so we get to play with these idiots and their jet packs and armor lock. Don't even get me started on the stupid camo thing. Who in the hell wants to see 30 red dots on their screen? That makes for a real stealth mode, huh? And besides that if you move you are no longer in visible.

In the end, MC and the storyline itself brought a way better experience then Reach can offer. I don't see not a one video showing off any of the Reach characters but there are a few thousand showing how badass MC was and still is.

The main protagonist doesn't even have a name...they just simply call him Noble 6. Pretty lame. It sad because I would play through the Halo 3 campaign multiple times and Reach was a struggle to get through once.

I'll continue to play because with the right group it is still fun, but in truth I would love to have Halo 3 back with Reach's Forge World....that would be a much better game.

I don't even look at the daily challenges anymore...

I loved objective games in Halo 3, but can't stand them in Reach.

I still miss the BR

So I was playing a game of swat and pretty much everyone had a long name and they killed people with, or were killed by headshots. At many points in the game the text overflowed into my reticle and distracting me as well as disrupting my aim.

^^^Notice how the text is HUGE when it first appears. I find it to be a very disrupting and useless effect.

I know this has been brought up before but just wanted to show more examples of it.

Other than that, I enjoyed Reach's campaign but it just didn't feel right.

Honestly, if they just re-made halo 1 and 2 with better graphics and called it reach that'd be amazing. But they had to COD and noob it up (not saying COD is for noobs, they just took elements from COD and made the entire game noob friendly).

im gonna have to say i miss the old halo also....I do agree that it is missing MC and that was gonna b my answer but my answer was also gonna b a BR.....Why do u need a DMR when the magnum shoots the exact same bullets...the only thing is that the DMR shoots for longer distance....Yes its a little stronger but u can shoot the magnum faster...So bring back the 3 burst....Also what is gonna happen to MC he is out in space just chillin how can u end it like that.....

I love the dmr, I HATE the bloom as it is now. It rewards too many people that spam.

i like the DMR also but the fact is that u can do almost the same damage with the magnum....just not for long distance...I do miss the BR still...and i no everyone does

I wish the magnum was stronger (like it was in the beta) and I wish that when you increase the damage to make the dmr a 4 shot, it didn't make the snipe a 1 shot kill and the nades hydrogen bombs and the rockets hydrogen bombs in ballistic missile form.

I just want to no, MASTER CHIEF WERE ARE YOU!!!!!!

He's with 343 Industries lol they're making halo 4 and they'll continue his story.
