Stuck on the Main Menu

I bought a Wii for Christmas...

So after years of mocking the system I have decided to purchase a Wii. In the end I was able justify it to myself saying that it’s a Christmas present for my kids (when I know I will be putting in more hours then the three of them combined). Now I would like a nice solid library of games and have already stating picking them up, but since I don’t know nearly as much about the Wii as I do about Xbox I feel I miss out on a great game. So if you have any suggestion for a game that would appeal to an adult, child, or both let me know.

For reference here is a list of what I have picked up so far

Golden Eye Wii
Donkey Kong Country Returns
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Epic Mickey
Mario Kart
New Super Mario Bros.
Toy Story 3
Sonic Colors
iCarley 2
Wii Sports
Wii Sports Resort

If I am missing out on a great game..let me know I want to make sure I hit up the best this system has to offer

After Christmas I will put up my Wii Friend code (whatever the hell that is)

    wow that's a lot of new games. I have a Wii that my parents bought me, all i've really played is Wii Sports so i have no idea what other games are any good.

    I have three kids..I'll do two games for each child thats 6, the system comes with 2, my father in law is getting a game and I used my points from my debit card to pick up three (didn't even know they had Wii games)...so it added up pretty quick.

    The games seem so cheap compared to 360 games...I know its only 10 dollars, but it feel cheaper...

    The Wii Is a great family console and i also own a few of those games that you listed so yea when you do put your friend code up let me know and i will show you how we kick it here in Wales

    I would also through the Silent Hill: Shattered Memories game on that list, its the only game I wouldn't want to play with a analog stick, they use the Wii remote so well in that game and has one of the best endings of last year (in my opinion).
