The first lawsuit by a gamer was filed yesterday by Kristopher Johns, 36, of Birmingham, Ala., in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Johns accuses Sony of not taking "reasonable care to protect, encrypt, and secure the private and sensitive data of its users."

Sony has responded to some questions about their PSN outage but the answers are still a bit vague. They are calling the outage to the Playstation 3 and the Playstation store as "Outside Intrusions." (hackers) They are also keeping closed mouth about a possible security breach, could user information have been removed from the system?...they don't know yet.

A collective group of hacker's calling themselves Anonymous, have began their war on Sony. Claiming that Sony's lawsuits against GeoShotz is an attack on free speech they have called on all hackers to “crash all server of Sony please." Last night both Sony.com and Playstation.com were shut down.
