Well, this was a very interesting game to play on DS, considering it is geared towards enhancing the brain and training it to learn how to connect shapes, memorize, calculate, think and connect the dots. As far as beating the game, it could be done within an hour or two. Very easy once you get the hang of it and for all intensive purposes I would say it is cheap on animation.
I have got to admit that after having the game I feel I have gotten smarter through doing simple shape puzzles and calculations that would normally be geared for a grade 6 student, it is very refreshing to an adult mind to play the games and realize how stupid we have gotten since we graduated from high school. Remember that the younger your mind, the more fresh it is, so if you are over 25 years old I would recommend this game to keep your head in the game.
My Overall Rating: 6 out of 10
Things to Improve: Animations, difficulty.
Strong Points: Brain enhancing, slightly educational.
Well, what can I say about this Tony Hawk game. Being a huge Tony Hawk fan, I had to play it on DS. It was really amazing to truly have the realist flair that Tony Hawk games have in the palm of your hand. Playing it since the very first Tony Hawk Pro Skater came out on N64, I have learned quite a few tricks with skate boarding with the game, not real life, I am very unbalanced. As for the graphics for this game, it is quite amazing considering it is only a little DS screen that you have. The freak out option with the touch screen when you wipe out a trick is fun, and a cool way to get some points back that you would have lost by bailing on the trick.
I got to recommend this game to anyone who has played any of the Tony Hawk games and also I recommend it to anyone who hasn't. Very easy to get the hang of and you always look like a superstar even when you only know how to do a 360 Ollie.
My Overall Rating: 9 out of 10
Things to Improve: More enhanced facial features on the characters.
Strong Points: Always something new to find, from gaps, to tricks, to building your own skate park.
