Tutorial – Clan Leaders – How to Send a Super PM

This Tutorial will teach all who have access how to send a Super PM. First off sending a Super PM is a great tool for giving members information. If you are the leader over a clan(s) you will have the ability to send a private message automatically without having to enter each and every member of that usergroup individually. If you need to get information out to your clan(s), Super PMs are the way to go.

To send a Super Pm, you need to be in your usercp. There are several ways to get into your user cp. One you can hit the ucp button at the top of the page. Another way is clicking the private message button below your name, which takes you to your inbox, in your usercp. Anyways, once you are in your user control panel, find the button on the left that says “Send New Message” under the Private Messages category. Once you click this you will see the standard private message box. This is where you want to be, but do not enter your info here. Instead click the button at the top right og the box that says “Send SuperPM” as shown in the picture below.



Ok Click that button. Once you click that button you will be taken to the Super pm screen. It will look much like the regular private message form except you will have a set of usergroups in checklist form and some special settings above the boxes. The check list of usergroups will look somewhat like this.



Select the usergroup(s) that you wish to send the message to and move on. Below that you may or may not have options to modify the message specifics, but that is no big deal. You will also have an option to show your email in the message which is optional. After you selected what you want proceed. After that everything is normal. You enter the title and message and proceed. Instead of clicking send the button will be a button title “Count and Confirm.” Click this. This will take you to a screen much like the previous but instead it will show all users that the message will be sent to. If you are happy with that click send. Note: You sometimes may get an error because members have full inboxes or have disabled PMs. If this happens please contact an administrator.
