Hello people, Welcome to my first of many reviews - I'm Miss M0lly, Formally known As...Miss M0lly.

Brutal legend is a game staring jack black - Lets stop right there, Jack black - The star of a game. If they just gave the voice of a talking panda to every hardcore metal head It'd be a riot, Jack black needs to stop selling himself out to the media.
The gameplay seemed like the normal hack and slash gameplay - With an Axe. It seemed that I'd played something like this. The controls feel very user comfortable - Which is the problem - It's impossible to criticize the controls of this demo seeing as they may even change it.
Back to the point - Jack Black stars as Eddie Riggs, a roadie with a new wave metal band, He is the best roadie around, which is actually suprising to me, It almost dragged me into the character himself until I found myself completely catapulted into an array of very interesting cut scenes, Even to the point of the game asking you if you want to hear the cussing or see the violence. I was impressed at a game actually asking your permission!
So your eventually brought into a...Hmm how should I put it like most other games?
A dark order bent on destroying the world. Cliche's, Cliche's, Cliche's. And he's running away from the order members, and comes across an enormous axe followed by a spell which is activated by a guitar. It felt...Natural.
Eventually I came to a part where he summoned car parts with the power of rock - Tenacious D reference, Anyone? And it's called the "Druid Plow," upon receiving this car I actually found myself ENJOYING this game, Running over random objects and people, Plowing through people and such. Until you come to a boss fight - Honestly this boss took me around a half hour to figure it out.
After the boss fight - A cut scene ensues and the demos up.
Rather a short demo - Hopefully it wont be a reflection on the games length.
I think I may actually recommend checking out the demo for the Xbox 360's Brutal Legend. The sound was nice, The Graphics were amusing, and the dialogue was spirited. I know that people don't like it when A person reviews a game as "good" but This game actually captured me and I enjoyed it.
Maybe the next review I'll try and completely annihilate a game.
Awesome review ;D
Very... Zero Punctuation-esque. Which is great.
I still can't believe you didn't include the whole 'giant axe/overcompensation' thing... I mean, that and the fact that Riggs is Gears of War size definitely means someone's trying to project something......
One thing I noticed though, you have a ton of random capitalizations throughout the review... a bit disorienting for some reason =/
All in all though, amazing job.
P.S. I kinda feel stalkery for making an account here, but your review sounded awesome in person. Just wanted to read it for myself. Also looking forward to many more ^^
good review. however after the game has been released and i played it i was very disapointed story line takes forever to develop. the controls are a little weak and the block ability was really pointless. if it wasnt for jack blacks voice and a few side remarks with a taste of ozzy osbourne this game would be a fail. i would recommend rental not buy. prolly give it a 4.5 out of 10. and that sucks i usually like TIM SCHAFER produced games..my suggestion would be to get microsoft points and download the old monkey island game you will have alot more fun with this game and you can actually complete it in about 7 hours.
