Game Review - Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2

Before I start I'd like to admit - I once went out with a marvel fanatic - So he got me into the marvel universe. So i'll be reviewing this from two points - The marvel Geek I am and as a newcomer to the game and it's characters.

Oh hey, look at this new game! Marvel Ultimate alliance two - I've been sheltered from television and media in general and have no idea who these superheros are - They're pretty keen, aren't they?

Marvel Ultimate alliance two features around 15 characters - I'm not quite sure seeing as I just *****d out the same exact team the entire game - Which is what's wrong with ultimate alliance 2, the random character changing just isint as fun as it used to be. It's Iron man versus captain America, With something about some other people and some bill but no one cares about that - People care about beating the crap outta people in this game.

...WHICH it delivers, this is not bad for an over the top RPG, all the pretty characters moving around the game though it does seem to get a little same-y after a while, the graphics aren't amazing but it's an over top RPG, can't expect much, can you?

Marvel ultimate alliance 2 seems to ....Well heres how to describe it in limerick form -
It transpires that the in game reality
Has potentions to non-linearity
The game says go on your bike
Go wherever you like
as long as it's in this principality.

Anyways, Marvel ultimate alliance two seemed to not take the fun of the first game with it in it's trip to the new gen games.

Less characters, less powers, crappy upgrading, less costumes.....

Once you got a team you are going to stick with it no matter what - Mrs Marvel, and anyone else,..

Marvel ultimate alliance as a sequel Is absolutely horrible - I had no idea that you'd get games to get worse over time! As an individual game....It's horrible - Go play the first one to play something actually fun.

It's a fun game but I still wanna know who that pretty lady wearing hardly wearing any clothing is! Oh wait - They're all wearing hardly anything!

PS: OH MY WORD, INVISIBLE WOMAN IS EXTREMELY USEFUL FOR ONCE!

Can't believe I'm reviewing a review ><
So, one thing I've never seen before was utilized here, and I have to say, it was well used. The 'newcomer' thoughts offered up an idea of what someone who isn't a reviewer might have thought of the game. It was interesting, entertaining, and just overall enjoyable. I have to say though... was the newcomer new to gaming completely? S/He seemed a bit too naive.. even though I'm sure that's what you were going for. It gets the point across better, and it's just funnier =]

As I know you are a huge fan of the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance, not to mention the fact that you are a gamer at heart and can probably kick my.. (can I swear? I'm not sure...) at any game, I can safely say that this is a well informed review.

On a finishing note, great review, and I hope to see many more. I look forward to them almost as much as Zero Punctuations... and that's saying something. Maybe if you did these vocally... and learned how to not breathe when talking......
