Rosters
1. It is both teams responsibility to verify the eligibility of all players playing in the match prior to starting or continuing any match play. A team playing with an ineligible player will forfeit the match. An ineligible player is one not on the Team Roster when the match has started.
2. Each team will be given 15 minutes from match start time to substitute any ineligible players. If the team does not substitute their ineligible player follow these steps:
-Immediately submit a ticket on our home page stating an ineligible player was present. This statement must be submitted before starting or continuing to play the match.
-Once the match has started, you must go back to your ticket and submit the URL link containing valid proof showing the ineligible player playing in the match. Without valid proof, no win can be awarded.
3. The rules below outline our policies on registered member. Please see rule number 2 if the following rules are broken:
-Users are only permitted one gamertag and username. Multiple usernames or gamertags will result in a ban from CrosseyedArena.
-All users participating in tournaments must have a valid XBL Gamertag, Playstation Network Tag depending on what the Tournament requires. Spelling and spaces must be exact, but does not need to be case sensitive. The Tournament Team Leader MUST have their gamertag on their profile or the match could result in a forfeit.
4. Team rosters may contain an extra member who can act as a substitute. An eligible substitute may be substituted between rounds, however, they must finish that round before the previous player may be allowed back in.
5. No match roster or player name changes may be made once a tournament has started.
Scheduling
1. Teams can reschedule a series as long as the proposed time is agreed upon and lies before the reporting deadline. You must submit proof of this agreement to a staff member/referee.
2. If a proposed rescheduling of the series time has not been agreed upon, the series is required to be completed prior to the start for the next round.
3. All scheduled matches must be played back to back. No warm-up or practice rounds are permitted once the first match of the series has begun.
No-Shows
1. All attempts to play must be exhausted. If you cannot contact your opponent you first must contact a referee/staff member once doing so you may report a win. You must still start that match at the agreed upon time to prove that you were online and ready to compete with your full team (no ineligible members).
2. Each team has 15 minutes prior to the start time to have every member ready or the will forfeit the match. Each team also has 5 minutes in between rounds. If these time limits are exceeded, then that team forfeits the match.
Reporting
1. Both teams are responsible for reporting the match upon its completion. If teams do not report matching results, the match will result in a 'conflict'. Conflicts will be decided by an Arena Admin.
2. Matches that go unreported by one team will result in an automatic win for the team that did report. Matches that go unreported by both teams will become automatic forfeits.
3. Any team found reporting as the winning team before the match is played or completed will be subject to penalties.
4. All matches need to be reported correctly by both teams. If there is an issue with a match, a ticket must be ticket submitted.
Conflicts
1. Do not contact staff inquiring about the status of a conflict or your team is subject to penalties. We receive many conflicts from our users, and they are handled in the order they are received.
2. All admin/management decisions are final!
Cheating
1. The use of any communications other than what is provided within the game is prohibited. For example, the use of Skype or private chatting during a match is not allowed. The only exception to this rule is for games that give you no advantage by using outside communication.
2. We have a zero tolerance policy for cheating. Teams or players caught cheating, "glitching", modding, or abusing in-game mechanics in any way will be removed from CrosseyedArena.com.
“Glitching” is defined as getting into a spot that requires more than one person to get to, standing on invisible ledges, getting outside, under, or above any map. Note: The Arena Staff also has the ability to deem any other action as glitching or abusive mechanics upon their discretion.
Support
1. If you have any problems during a match, you may contact a Staff Member and or referee to answer any questions you may have. To find the list of Staff members and refs, click on the "Staff" tab located in the navigation bar on the Front Page and choose "Staff List and Contacts".
2. If a Staff member is called into a match for any reason, all players must comply with the Staff member's instructions. Failure to do so will result in penalties for your team.
3. Verbally abusing Staff members called into a match will not be tolerated. The individual user and/or team violating this rule will be subject to being banned. All team managers are responsible for the conduct of the players on the team while interacting with staff and are subject to penalties for abusive team players.
Proof
1. You need to show proof of winning each map/game in a match to be given the win for it. All proof must be clearly visible and show the in-game full scoreboard during the completion of that map/game. The proof must all clearly show both team's players to be considered valid.
2. We recommend all video proof should be uploaded to YouTube. All Picture proof can be uploaded to Photobucket. The URL link to the individual pictures/proof must provided.
3. You can also use a url to the match being played if its available i.e. bungie.net for any halo matches.
4. For all glitching and cheating claims, the burden of proof is on the accuser. To submit a glitching or cheating claim contact a staff member if you have no proof the match results will remain but if there is continued complaints about the same team that team may be suspended/terminated.
Matches
1. All matches must be played in their entirety.
2. The lower ranked team/player at match time will host the first map. The higher ranked team/player at match time will host the second map. This will alternate for each map if/until a tie breaker map is needed. The team/player that has won the most combined rounds will host the final map.
3. A "Lag Test" must be completed prior to starting the match. This is a test round that doesn't count and uses the standard game settings that will be used during the match. For the lag test, a map that is not scheduled for play must be used. If the game lags during this test, a new host must be chosen. If a host cannot be agreed on you must contact a staff member/referee. If a player/host disconnects during the initial launch of a map, the map will be restarted.
4. If a player disconnects after the map has started, the player that the team belongs will automatically lose that map.
Crown Holding
So the rules of the crown are as follows:
If you are the holder of the crown, you must play at least once a month. If you become inactive or fail to play within 30 days, your crown will be removed an randomly assigned to someone else on that ladder.
