      Default Militant Video!

I had a think today and wondered if anybody would be up for making a video clip? Like a short comedy sketch introducing the members etc... I saw vids that these guys made using Cod4 and Halo2/3 etc.. Does anybody know how to actually record ingame? or anybody that has some ideas or willing to help out, gimme ur ideas maggots, this could be fun.

P.s I have some pretty decent video editing stuff on my pc but im still learning how to use it to the best it can be.

Is this just a crazy stupid idea? 2 cents anyone?

Umm I think someone will have to have a camera to be able to get footage of MW2 because we dont have a video "system" like Halo 3. And you will have to have a HDTV because if not, there will be lines on the TV/footage..

Id say Id do it, but I only have the capabilities at my school(Im taking a broadcasting class, so I know how to edit and all that) but I only have 2 weeks left in that class(but I could maybe somehow do it after Im out of that class also, I dont know).

But like I said, you need a decent TV(HD of course) and a video camera(non dvd, the little DV tape kind) and hopefully a Mac with FinalCut Pro

There are a couple things you can do depending on what you have , what most do is get an external capture card (Dazzle or other product) which plugs into your computer via USB.

Then you need an analog splitter (yellow, red and white connectors) which you can plug the xbox into as well as the TV.

This allows you to have the xbox play on your computer and capture the video as well as see the game on your tv so you can actually play it.

Hit capture on the computer and off you go. Once it is saved on your computer you can edit with most any video editor (windows movie maker, sony vegas and so on)

CEG ARTY and CEG ColdBlood both have good computer equipment for editing and probably can help you with other ways to go about this.

Do keep in mind you can always instantly connect to youtube and capture your video directly to it. Once it is there you can get an editor to download and add all the fancy stuff if you want to.

I am not video guru so beyond what I am saying here I have not clue. All of this comes from trial and error and of course, watching tutorials on this stuff on youtube!

      Goog luck guys!
