One day in the life of ultimate slackers Randall and Dante as they deal with annoying customers, talk constantly about relationships, sex, Star Wars, Customers, each others, more about customers, and more about sex all while working at a convenience store and movie rental shop.

I am a huge fan of Kevin Smith and own most of his movies on DVD (nothing tops his commentary on a movie) but Clerks is still my favorite. One of the reasons I think I like this movie so much is it is so relatable to anyone who has had to work in a job they hate, felt they are better then, and dealt with customers that they hate and felt they are better then. Heavy on dialog and spot on with conversation….like people have said… “its how me and my friends talk”.

Release Date: June 11th 1993
Genre: Adventure
Director: Steven Spielberg
Writer: Michael Crichton
Quote: “I spared no expenses.”

Two Archeologist are brought in to inspect a “amusement/adventure” park by eccentric billionaire John Hammond. What they discover is an island in habited by dinosaurs brought back to life through genetic engineering. While on the tour of the park the electricity fails and the scientist along with a cast of others are left to fend for themselves against the prehistoric beasts.

For me (being 13 at the time this movie came out and a dino-nut) no scene in a movie will top when they first show the dinosaurs. It was something many little kids have dreamed of…living dinosaurs. The movie has a good pace and takes the viewer on an adventure they while scary many want to be a part of.
