What the word on the web is that for $299 and with all of the above, (especially the 250 GB hard drive) it's a great deal. Add the fact that its quieter, cooler and doesn't have the RROD history and you have a winner. I'll be getting one as soon as they have cooled off and are out on the shelves.

I like the idea of using the motion controller for the menu. Trying to get out of the message board after posting a message, then get back to the friends list and over to my game library takes about 25 button hits. After using the touch screen on my phone thats seems like a real nuisance. Waving my hand around and pushing this and that around is just what I'm looking for.

The Wi-fi looks sweet too. Is it game play worthy, I don't know but with all hotels having Wi-Fi it may be worth packing in the suit case to give it a shot.

As we get a better list of games using Kinect, that may bring a whole new reason to get the box and Kinect.
