What are your favorite guns shown in the reach beta

I'll vote DMR, but I loved the Pistol

The sniper rifle hands down. It's nothing like the clunky halo 3 snipe and more like halo 2's . But i also loved the DMR.

i like the grenade launcher because it is balanced well, the dmr and needle rifle are week but the focus rifle and plasma launcher (and magnum) hit too hard, i wish the assault rifle was back in a better, more powerful spot but they really took its power down too, so thats why i like the grenade launcher

I'm glad the AR is not nearly as powerful as it was in halo 3. And if nobody has noticed, the DMR clip has been increased from the 12 shot it was in the Beta to a 15 shot clip and the bloom resets much quicker. I prefer the DMR over the BR.

That why good companies have betas so they can adjust the game to suit the gamers...take note Infinity Ward

I also think the DMR is better than the battle rifle because where with the battle rifle, the game mechanics and the matchmaking systems had to keep track of 3 bullets for each shot. This means that in Non-MLG games, the game needs to register 15 bullets per kill (5 shots). With the DMR, it only needs to register 5 bullets which will result in better bullet registration online and less enemies "eating shots".

I have to give it to the DMR, mainly because it gets the job done. If you have a DMR and sniper rifle, you can do some major damage from long range.

ima vote the needle rifle...only because its what i used most during the short time i played the beta..(maybe 15 games)

I can't wait to experience the full line up of weapons in all game types....Especially using the laser in Slayer matches

one thing i hate about games, if i have a rifle of any type and enough ammo, i should be able to beat someone with a pistol face to face every time, not the case in reach and other games

That's because the halo pistol is legendary. One of the worst things bungie did in halo 2 and 3 was decrease the power of the pistol. But the DMR is mid/long range and the pistol is short/mid range so the best thing to do is switch to the pistol if you're face to face.
