Halo Reach Brings Back Blood Gulch
Bungie releases a Red vs Blue that shows the new map and some surprises. Watch and let me know if the guy flying the Hornet doesn't sound like Arty.
It's Blood Gulch, the same map just cleaned up. The most obvious change is the complete graphic overhaul, but the end also reveals that the map is now significantly larger, allowing you to go outside of the canyon. Don't worry though, everything you love about the old map is still there: The cliff for sniping from, the cave for...dying in, that weird nook that was useless but cool.
The video shows off a new hologram powerup, which creates a perfect replica of your cartoon self. You can send the hologram out to distract the sniper who has you trapped behind a rock. Can you take him out while he's shooting the other your? I don't know yet. If you can control the hologram and the real you at the same time or if you can only move one at a time still remains to be seen. The video only shows the clone moving, that's all we got to go on.
I also noticed in the video that the guy capturing the flag could use the jet pack. In the beta you couldn't use the power up and hold the flag. That would be awesome if you could fly with the bomb or flag.
