Exciting Changes Made to the 2010 MLG Pro Circuit
The 2010 Season has already proven to be an incredible ride, and it's only going to get better from here. As you all know, Bungie's Halo Reach is just around the corner, and we have found a way to begin using it as a competition title immediately after launch while still maintaining the integrity and fairness of the Halo 3 Pro Circuit Season. Below you will find a summary of the changes we've made to our Season structure in order to finish Halo 3's final Pro Circuit Season in style and set the stage for a truly trailblazing 2011 Season with Halo Reach. We're thrilled to be able to begin holding live Halo Reach competitions in 2010, and we think you'll agree that the changes outlined below are equally thrilling.
Raleigh (Aug. 27–29) Offers Players an Exclusive Opportunity to Get a Reserved Halo Reach Pass
Anyone who Competes in Raleigh's Halo 3 Competition Will Get a Reserved Team Pass for Their Choice of Either the MLG Washington D.C. or MLG Dallas Halo Reach Competitions
Compete in Halo 3 at MLG Raleigh and get an exclusive early-registration window which guarantees you a team pass to compete in the Halo Reach 4v4 Event at your choice of either MLG D.C. or MLG Dallas! Passes for Halo Reach are expected to sell out within minutes, so don't miss this opportunity!

Raleigh will feature Halo 3, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Tekken 6 and World of Warcraft, as originally planned.

Washington D.C. (Oct. 15–17) will now host both the Doritos Combine and Pro Circuit Competitions
Plans for the Washington D.C. Event have been drastically altered. Doritos really stepped it up, allowing us to host both the fourth Doritos Pro-Gaming Combine and the fourth Live Competition of the 2010 MLG Pro Circuit under the same roof. The merging of these two amazing competitions will make D.C. one of the biggest Events in MLG history.
The Doritos Pro-Gaming Combine will use Halo Reach
Up to 256 teams may register for this Event
The Format of the Competition will be the same as that of the Combine Events that have already occurred
The same prizes will be up for grabs, there will be an FFA Event, and the same player restrictions will apply
Winners from the first three Combines (Nashville, Chicago and Denver) will still be invited to the Combine Finals, which will now feature Halo Reach (see below)
Results from this competition will also be used to seed the MLG Dallas Halo Reach Exhibition Event (see below)

The MLG Pro Circuit will continue to use Halo 3
Up to 44 teams may register for this Event
The team that wins the MLG D.C. Halo 3 4v4 Event will be invited to compete in the National Championship, along with seven other teams based on Season Rank Points
Prizes for the D.C. Live Competition will be the same as in all other Regular Season Competitions
The D.C. Live Competition will also include Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Tekken 6, and World of Warcraft

The D.C. Event is free to spectate and open to the public
Come out and watch teams compete for the eight coveted spots in the National Championship, and be there for the first-ever Halo Reach Event
Dallas, TX (Nov. 5–7) is now the site of the MLG Pro Circuit National Championship and Combine Finals, and will host a Halo Reach Exhibition Event
MLG Dallas will host a number of exciting and high-profile competitions in several different titles:
The Doritos Pro-Gaming Combine Finals will use Halo Reach
The 32 Combine Winners will compete
Four winners will receive Pro Status for the entire 2011 Season, which will feature Halo Reach

The MLG Pro Circuit National Championship will use Halo 3
The Halo 3 competition is invitation-only, and will feature the eight teams that qualified throughout the Regular Season
At the conclusion of the 2010 Season, the Top 8 teams, based on points, will be seeded 1-8 for the Championship Bracket at the first Live Competition of the 2011 Season, which will use Halo Reach
Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Tekken 6 will feature an Open Bracket with a corresponding 16-player National Championship Bracket
The World of Warcraft National Championship Event will be an invitation-only, eight team double-elimination bracket

A Halo Reach Exhibition Event will be held
The Top 4 teams will split a prize pool of $7,500
The Top 8 finishers from this Event will be seeded 9-16 for the Championship Bracket at the first Live Competition of the 2011 Season, which will use Halo Reach
Points earned in this Event will be used to seed the first Event of the 2011 Season
Up to 256 teams may register for this Event
This Event is 4v4 only
This Event is open to all players not competing in the Halo 3, SSBB, Tekken 6, or WoW National Championship Events. Combine Finalists are welcome to compete in this Event
Passes for this Event will go on sale in the MLG Store for $240

The Online Pro Circuit Finals will take place in Dallas
The Online Pro Circuit Finals for Playstation 3 Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will be held live in Dallas
The competition is invitation-only and will feature the eight teams that qualified throughout the Season
We are tremendously pleased to be able to feature Halo Reach in a Live Competition format this Season while continuing to promote a fair playing field for amateur and pro Halo 3 players alike.
