I really don't know why i'm making this post, i haven't been active in the clan, and i apologize.

Nothing against you guys, awesome spot you have here, but what we are looking for no clan is offering at the moment, so we decided to create our own.

As for leaving, as you mentioned you were not an active part of a clan so you aren't really leaving anything.

There is a reason the title of our site says Social Community for Gamers and not gaming clan. CrossEyedGamer is not a clan website.

It's a social community for gamers and what gamers do in the community, post in forums, play over 1800 games for free, make their own social groups, blog about their favorite games and daily lives, chat in chatrooms as well as one on one in instant messages and well, just about whatever else they can do via the internet.

I am not beating you up dude as I don't care what clan you are in. CEG, XGC or make you own. However, what I need you and others to realize is, you don't leave facebook do you???

So, you don't leave CrosseyedGamer either. If you come on here and act stupid and play all those old dumb clan members games of talking trash to CEG clan members well, than you won't have to leave as you would be banned for breaking the WEBSITES terms of service.

Have fun on your gaming adventure. I am sorry you didn't see the bigger picture of CrossEyedGamer and couldn't find what you were looking for in a CEG clan.

I did see that XG has another amnesty month going so if HST isn't what you can make it, well, they would love to have you. lol..

We on the other hand don't care one way or the other. Your welcome on the site and to game with whomever you want.

I'm going to take a wild guess in that what he wanted was to be the person in charge and with his demeanor and the fact that he's the type to seek out drama that was never going to happen in an established clan so he starts his own.

While some and all of the above is correct, the short discussion I had was simply there is a quest to be a competitive gamer clan versus social gamer clan.

A clan it whatever the hell you make it. It's your group of people and you recruit them in and do the things you all enjoy doing.

It is a shame that everyone out there doesn't see the opportunity Crosseyed Gamer offers them as a Gamer. You have all the tools and resources here to do whatever you want.

We are as gamer friendly as it gets. We don't have strict site rules so it's pretty hard to get banned off here. As for clans, the clans that have formed in CEG are a mixed bag of greatness.

Some of them do nothing but hang out and socialize, others actually live in the same town and hang out in real life, and others are very old school with there specific structure with meetings, practices and clan matches.

I am going to tell you all this again, I didn't start CrossEyedGamer with Bunny because I wanted another stupid clan community. I had that over in XG. I was there top leader and during the height of that communities best times it was because of me. As a general I had 8 clans and as a section leader I had 17 clans. As a Division Leader and Community Leader I had in the entire community over 200 clans. I took SYN from 18 clans to over 35 clans which eventually grew larger than KOG for the first time ever.

I say all this not because I want to toot my own horn and surely, my success was because of those around me, but if I wanted to build nothing more than clans, I could do so and do it very well. I know what clans are and I know what it takes to make it work in the environment we have in gaming right now.

Our focus at CrosseyedGamer has never been clans. We left that to the gamers because we believe unlike what others say, it is the gamers community to do with as they please. Do I beat up the clan leaders daily?

Yep. they are clan leaders for a reason and if the clan area is evolving properly than it needs to get fixed. With that, what I am really here for is to provide all gamers with every opportunity possible to get the most enjoyable gaming experience there is when they come on our website. I can't control Xboxlive or PS3 or PC systems and all that so that is where clan leaders come in. They are the extension of the website and help organize gamers on those other platforms.

If there are any clan gamers out there that have big dreams of going to MLG and being a pro gamer, I suggest you get your team together and practice. Go prove yourself in the competitive areas like GameBalttles and CEGArena.com. Show us you can actually be consistent with your gameplay as well as sticking together as a team.

Start your own social group here on CrosseyedGamer.com. Discuss your teams daily happenings in your clans forums and don't forget that you all get your own BLOG to use as your daily journal to talk about all the ups and downs your team has.

Doesn't it make more sense to do all that than go and try and be a website maker?

You don't even need a website to be a competitive pro style gamer. You make a website because you are looking for something more than just being a gamer playing games.

While I would not tell anyone not to pursue their own dreams or goals, I will say this, as far as doing clan websites and clan communities, IT's ALL BEEN DONE BEFORE AND FOR THE MOST PART, IT's DEAD. Individual small clan sites are cool for those that just want to have a spot for their little group but in the end, its a lot more work than most gamers want to be bothered with.

What isn't dead is a website that is open to every style of gamer that allows you to do things your way. How do I know this?

I'd like to say we made them change their thinking but it was out there before CrossEyedGamer came along but, IGN is now promoting SOCIAL GAMER NETWORK.

IGN is a huge multi-muillion dollar company that has millions of users on their site daily. They are one of the Gaming News giants. They are finally seeing the light and realizing that gamers like to socialize with each other. So, rather than just put up all that news they are now promoting the idea of being social on their site.

Novel concept that I brought to the attention of the owners of a gaming community website over 3 years ago. Social Gaming Network. Facebook with a gaming overtone. They opted out of that altogether and well, you see where they are having to have amnesty month to gain members. What I call, Recycled drama. They can have those recycled rift raft shit stirring people as there primary members. Even those people are welcome here as we don't care what the hell clan you are in. We got cool stuff on this website and I would come here daily even if I wasn't the one that made it. 1800 arcade games for free? Podcasts, Blogs? gaming news? Cool CrossEyed Articles by the Crosseyed Bunny? Are you kidding me? what is there not to like.

We are not the only people doing this but, we have several things the others don't have. One of those things is in fact CLANS. It's a good and bad thing for us as sometimes people think CrosseyedGamer is a clan itself. We are not. We are a social community for gamers. What the gamers do here is up to them. Been saying that since DAY ONE.

However, CLANS are unique in that they are groups of like minded people that get online for the sole purpose of gaming together. There are small groups and large groups that do this already and do not call themselves clans. They don't have a website that has BLOGS, Game news, Reviews, Videos, forums, over 1800 games, Chatrooms and lots of fun people to be with. That is what we offer. Im not sure quite what you wanted, because me and CEG Steelers offered you positions to bring all of your friends over and start your own squad under Anarchy. You also had the option to help organize the arena teams and get them set-up to compete in your style of competition. But anyway, we wish you the best luck with whatever it is your doing....or wanting to do.

no it's not because i wanted to be a person in charge, i'm sorry, but i don't get a hard on for being in charge over a video game, if that was the case i would've stood in Nv and waited until the new site was built if I wanted to be in charge. I didn't come into CEG declaring I wanted rank because I can offer this and that, I came in wanting to start over. (not saying i would've gotten the rank) In my eyes wouldn't that be a bit more humbling? I even rejected going into a clan with members from Nv because I wanted to start over fresh.

I already stated to highlander that i was mainly looking for something more competitive, and this site is more of a gaming friendly site in my eyes. So excuse me for wanting to start up a small clan with a few friends. My gaming style, and the people I game with are more aggressive than what you guys come off as, and rather then bring that drama to your clan, I'm removing myself. It's not like i went out, bought a new domain name and started to poach members with promises to make them an invisible rank, like most clans do when they are starting off. The members in our clan have been gaming with one another since I was in XG. (and that's what, 9 to 11 members, yeah big clan start up, you guys should be worried, we are so going for the biggest clan crown)

What did i do to you doc to make you believe that i was here to promote drama? I mean really, did i cause any drama here while i was a member? Besides the incident in pebbles blog, because if i remember correctly that was because you came off like an ass. (again so we don't go arguing back and forth, i'm not calling you one, i said you are coming off like one) I didn't start any drama while i was here nor am I creating any drama. So please, enlighten me and let me know when i've caused drama in your eyes Doc.

I respect all of you, I haven't been on here posting random bs to your members, or to any of you to warrant the "flaming" I am receiving from for stuff I have not done. I respect highlander and all that he is saying, and a lot of what he is saying does make sense, but this is something I want to do, that I have been wanting to do since before I even came to CEG, and me and my friends are finally making it official.

I thank all for the kind words, and the others who said I'm only here for the drama.. Your only trying to get the raise out of me to create drama, and I'm going to be the bigger man here and ignore it.

I do have to kind of defend Proph on this one. We had no problem with any drama from him over in Anarchy and he wasnt power hungry either, because he stated to me and Steelers from the beginning he didnt want any quick ranks or to move straight to the top. I have a lot of respect for the guy and wish him the best in what he does. And like Highlander said, we are a social community, so feel free to stay part of CEG if you would like Proph, you can be in the community and not be in a clan. Good luck my friend and take care.

Wow lol honestly proph it does rub some people the wrong way when they see "leaving" ceg the thread title alone instills a small amount of drama. I agreed with you on everything you said except for the no drama part you knew what you were doing by creating this thread. Having said that I dont really fault you. It does suck that you didnt exhaust all avenues before you decided to depart. For instance "laid back" gamers is only one side of ceg. If we all here were laid back, we wouldn't have a ladder/tournament site. I in particular fall into that very competitive/aggresive group. We have a few clans that were created just for the purpose of being an organized competitive team. Maybe we need to do a better job of getting the word out about what we have to offer here.

I personally being a Drama Queen and all don't mind any of this. Proph37 your awesome and always welcome here. I hope your group does everything you want it to, and as far as we're concerned your still here. You don't have to be in a clan to be a part of CrosseyedGamer. The Arcade Challenge and any other stuff we do is here for you and all registered members. Clans are awesome and I love them but they aren't everyone's cup of tea.
