Which Music based game do you like the best?
When they first came out I was like, you plastic guitar playing nerds get a life. Then of course, Rock Band 2 hit and I was intrigued buy the new fake instruments enough to try it out. On the flip side, my son was interested in the Guitar Hero games so we ended up with both.
My opinion was that Rock Band felt the most real to play even though you were smashing colored buttons on a plastic guitar.
Well now they have real instruments and another contender has emerged to give the two biggies a run for their money.
I have not played it yet but the new game Power GIG with it's real guitar does sometimes call me name when I walk past it in the game store.
As a guitar/keyboard player and gamer, a game that merges realism with gaming makes me a bit excited.
I see some of you on my friends list play Guitar Hero so I got to thinking what everyone else likes best.
